CHAPTER 30. STREETS AND SIDEWALKS.*
Sec. 30-13. Permit -- Required; exception.*
No person other than employees of the city or persons under contract with the city or subcontractors of same shall cut or open any public street, alley, lane, court or place in the city for any purpose whatsoever without first obtaining a written permit to do so from the superintendent of streets.
In the case of land subdivisions which have been considered and approved pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 31 of this Code, the approval of the subdivision by the planning commission shall make unnecessary any permit under this section for improvements within said subdivision boundaries to be constructed as a condition for the approval of the subdivision final map.
