CHAPTER 33. TAXICABS AND OTHER VEHICLES FOR HIRE.*

Sec. 33-13. Advertising notice of application; publishing fee.

Immediately upon the filing of such an application, the city manager shall cause a notice to be published in a newspaper of general circulation within the city, which notice shall set forth the fact that application has been filed for a certificate of public convenience and necessity to operate taxicabs or shuttles, the name of the applicant and the number of vehicles proposed to be operated. Such notice shall be published once and the publication shall be at least ten days prior to the hearing. On filing the application, the applicant shall pay to the city manager the costs and expenses of advertising. (Ord. No. 660 (NCS), § 2; Ord. No. 2244 (NCS), § 10.)
