CHAPTER 36. INDUSTRIAL WASTE, WASTEWATER COLLECTION AND DISCHARGE.

Sec. 36-16. Applicable construction codes for building sewers.

The size, slope, alignment, materials of construction of a building sewer and the methods to be used in excavating, placing the pipe, jointing, testing, backfilling of the trench, shall all conform to the requirements of the city plumbing code and the city design standards and standard specifications currently in effect at the time of installation. Permits for building sewers which do not conform in design to the plumbing code may be granted if the plans have been approved by the city engineer/public works director. (Ord. No. 1870 (NCS), § 3.)
