CHAPTER 36. INDUSTRIAL WASTE, WASTEWATER COLLECTION AND DISCHARGE.

Sec. 36-20. Protective devices required.

All excavations for building sewer installations shall be adequately guarded with barricades and lights so as to protect the public from hazard. The permittee shall agree to assume responsibility for any public liability or property damage which may result from the work. Street, sidewalks, parkways, or other public property disturbed in the course of the work shall be restored in accordance with the design standards and standard specifications currently in effect. Permits for building sewers shall also be considered as encroachment permits as required in other sections of the city code. (Ord. 1870 (NCS), § 3.)
