CHAPTER 36. INDUSTRIAL WASTE, WASTEWATER COLLECTION AND DISCHARGE.

Sec. 36-23.2. Limits on prohibited wastes.

No person shall discharge wastewater:

(a) Having a temperature which will cause the influent of the POTW to exceed one hundred four degrees Fahrenheit (forty degrees Celsius);

(b) Having a pH lower than 5 pH units or greater than 11 pH units; to prevent corrosive and structural damage to the POTW in accordance to 40 CFR part 403.5 (b)(2). (Ord. No. 2102 (NCS).)
