Spay/Neuter Vouchers
SAS offers Spay/Neuter vouchers to City of Salinas residents in the amount of $50 for male pets and $75 for females. These vouchers can be used at most vets in the Monterey Couny area and owners are responsible for fees over the voucher amount charged by the veterinarian. Vouchers are good for after the date of issuance. Residents can get the vouchers at SAS and must bring in photo ID and a current utility bill. Dogs must have current rabies vaccination and a current license (if your dog is not licensed yet, you will need to purchase a $10 six month voucher). Cats will need to have current rabies vaccination before or at the time of surgery.
