Parks & Community Services
The City of Salinas offers a variety of recreational classes for adults that promote health awareness, provide an opportunity for continued learning and encourage a positive leisure lifestyle. Adult/Senior Bus Trips are another one of our popular programs.
Community Building Circles at Hebbron Family Center
Community Building circles is a method of engaging residents of neighborhoods in a process of sharing mutual concerns, hopes, and solutions. Each small group comes together voluntarily in a safe, respectful, and confidential dialogue that is lead by a “Circle Keeper” who insures that agreed upon ground rules are followed and participants are all engaged. By participating in this process, the people will chart a vision of their community and how they are part of the solution. For more information please call (831) 775-4232.
